I guess you don't expect to see much words when visiting a wedding photographer website, but... sometimes there are exceptions. And this post is mine.

I grew up in an ex-communist country, where things that are normal for all of the western world and US - things like Christmas, freely traveling abroad and religion - were forbidden. The same-sex relationships were also not accepted and even illegal. And even so many years after the falling of the Berlin wall (1989 to be precise), the prejudice in East Europe towards same sex love still exists. In countries like Bulgaria, Russia, etc it is not "normal" and acceptable to be gay.

Gay people are still hiding and struggling with their own identity. And this makes me sad, because deep in my heart I believe that everybody deserves to love and to be loved the way the feel it. I feel that in 21st century it is not OK to hide when you want to hold the hand of your loved one.
