Dreamy engagement session in Windy San Francisco

Engagements session season is here and I can’t wait to share all the amazing images I get to create with my couples. After the epic session with Janell and Doug in Mendocino, now it is time to come back to San Francisco. Michelle and Tyler traveled all the way from Utah, for their portrait session. We were able to plan everything ahead: the two locations they wanted to go to and the vibe they wanted to be captured. And, as their photographer was to support, read the couple’s energy and adjust the whole photography experience based on that. The day was really windy and we started our session in Rodeo Beach in Marin, County. Michelle and Tyler laughed, danced, and enjoyed the epic views. I decided to add an additional more secluded location, so I can capture more intimate and close-up portraits of the two of them. This is why we stopped at Marin Headlands Center of Arts.
And let me tell you about the engagement sessions - in addition to creating beautiful images that capture this special time in a couple’s life, these portrait sessions are the perfect opportunity for us to get to know one another and “to practice” what it feels like to be in front of the camera. It really helps us ‘get there faster on a wedding day having had the experience of the engagement session.
