California Wine Country on film

At the beginning of December me and few friends went to  a short adventure - trip north of San Francisco. California wine country can offer you during that time, not only one of the best wine in the world (well i'm not big of an expert, but that it is what people used to say), but also you can meet there kind people and of course beautiful views everywhere.

So if you are planning to visit California Wine Country, here is my short list of recommendations for you:
Shed cafe at Halsburg - good food, shopping experience and beautiful light
Paul Mathews tasting room - lovely tasting room and really good wine
Preston farm and winery - organic food and wine in a historic farm
Vintners Inn - beautiful place to stay

Point Reyes on film

At the beginning of December I made this short trip from San Francisco to Point Reyes. Just about 30 miles / 50 km north from the city and everything changes. On the way to the historic lighthouse you will probably drive through green fields and cow farms, maybe you will see deer and when you get there if you are really lucky you can spot grey whales migrating or feeding nearby. It is truly a magical place!

Pia Ulin Workshop in Barcelona / still life

Can you imagine that currently I'm in the gorgeous city Barcelona taking beautiful pictures with whole bunch of cool people. Actually I'm one of the attendants to the Pia Ulin workshop (amazing interior photographer with big very impressive portfolio). So for five days we discuss, learn new things, do photography and styling and inspire each other. And together with the talented stylist and photographer Eli Fontarnau creating different sets from scratch. For our still life assignment we went to the hills close to Barcelona and here is what came out from my camera. Moody, dark inspirational shots perfect for the beginning of the autumn.

Monterey Bay, California

If you follow me for a while, you probably know that one of my most favorite things to do, when I move to a new country is to explore it.
And at the end of January I had the chance to pack my weekend bag and go down to Monterey Bay. I did that trip three years ago (here you can see my small magazine about my first ever American trip), driving the popular Highway 1, but I didn’t have enough time to stop and look around all the beautiful places. And this time I stayed in Monterey and explored the surroundings for two full days (still not enough).

You can read about the trip and check out the few places that are worth visiting at 79ideas.
Here I would like to show you more pictures.

Inspiration comes from everywhere

These words are so well known already that they sound almost like a cliché. But no matter how they sound they are so true. Today I found my inspiration in a card box. In the morning I received an unexpected package. It came in a card box and it wasn’t something that I ordered. Impatiently I opened the card box and there was another package with a beautiful birthday wish card from a dear friend from New York. The package as you see was incredible pretty. I stared at it for more than an hour, unable to unwrap it. And I felt so inspired by my friend’s work. I’m blessed to have such creative friends. I hope she could inspire you too.
Thank you, Milena.
